Hey! I'm Lindsey Lomis, I'm 15 years old and I'm from Nashville, Tennessee. I LOVE to sing. I play guitar, keys, ukulele, and a little bass. I also write my own music. I mainly play acoustic pop mixed with indie and soul.
I've had a vocal coach, Ray Barnette, since I was 10. I'm also extremely lucky to get tips from Fleming McWilliams and Laura Donohue of Girls Up Loud. I am a member of the YEAH Southern Girls Rock family and am so grateful for all the mentors who volunteer there. Ellen Britton and her husband Bobby King are coaching me on the guitar, and I am learning keys from Joshua Ashley too. I have learned so much from these amazing people throughout the years, I'm beyond thankful.
In 2017 I started attending high school at the Nashville School of the Arts where I take both guitar and music theory classes everyday. This is definitely the place for me. I'm learning so much about the things I love and I'm around so many artistic people.
I hope to have a career in music, it's my greatest passion. It's incredible how music can inspire and touch someone. Music has absolutely gotten me through tough times, I like to think of songwriting as my therapy. I want to be able to help people through my music. No other thing in the world makes me feel the way music does.
My first single, "If Only," was released in May 2015 and cowritten and produced by Ray Barnette.
